LOCATION: Initial Placement – Wincey Mills
General Purpose:
Duration: May to August (35 hours/week)
Hourly Rate: $22.54 (2025)

You must be enrolled in a post-secondary Institution and returning to school in the fall in order to qualify for this position with the exception of completing a final co-op term.
LOCATION: Initial Placement – Wincey Mills
General Purpose:
- To work with Arts, Culture and Heritage staff to help develop the industry in the County of Brant and to help capture and share the stories of the County of Brant.
- Assist in evaluating and championing the Arts, Culture & Heritage assets within Brant.
- Assist with research and the presentation of heritage narratives.
- Assist with the administrative tasks associated with Culture Days.
- Work with local artists, creatives, and community members to support the industry and collect the stories of the community.
- Provide support for various arts, culture and heritage tasks outlined and in the County of Brant Arts, Culture and Heritage Strategy.
- Attend events throughout the County.
- Experience with Microsoft Applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Demonstrated research and presentation skills (in heritage or cultural fields would be an asset).
- Solid written and verbal communication skills and experience working with the public.
- Ability to effectively collaborate as part of a team and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid class G driver’s license and use of a vehicle with acceptable driver’s abstract is required.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends when required.
- Experience with technical and creative writing
- Knowledge of Truth and Reconciliation and Ontario Heritage regulations
- Local history knowledge.
