REPORTS TO: Parks and Facilities Supervisor
LOCATION: To be determined 

Responsibilities/Duties:
  • General maintenance and care in County arenas, parks, sports fields and splash pads.
  • Cutting of grass and weed eating.
  • Minor landscaping.
  • Maintaining flower beds and planters.
  • Planting, watering, and weeding.
Knowledge/Skills Required:
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to work afternoon and weekend shifts on a rotating basis.
  • Knowledge of tools and equipment.
  • Valid Driver's license (G or G2).
  • Physical ability to carry out essential job duties.
  • Standard First Aid/CPR C/AED training.
  • The successful applicant must submit a current driver's abstract and current Criminal Records Police Check satisfactory to the County prior to start date. 
  • CSA approved work boots must be personally supplied by the successful candidate.
Duration: April to August (40 hours/week) 
Wage: $19.35 (2025)

You must be enrolled in a post-secondary Institution and returning to school in the fall in order to qualify for these positions.
