REPORTS TO: Roads Superintendent
LOCATION(S): South Dumfries / Mount Pleasant / Mount Vernon

Responsibilities/Duties:
Reporting to an Area Patrol Yard within the County of Brant, you will assist the Roads Division with the following:
  • Flagging as required for traffic control.
  • Grass cutting/trimming.
  • Roadwork patching.
  • Outdoor work in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills Required:
  • Outdoor work experience with ability to undertake physical work in all weather conditions.
  • Physical ability to carry out essential job duties.
  • Knowledge and experience in a municipal government setting would be considered an asset.
  • Valid driver's licence (G or G2).
  • Acceptable driver's abstract required.
  • CSA approved work boots must be personally supplied by the successful candidate.
Duration: May to September
Hourly Rate: $18.39 (under 18) $19.35 (over 18) / 2025 rate
Hours per week: 40

You must be enrolled in a post-secondary Institution and returning to school in the fall in order to qualify for this position.
