LOCATION: Initial Placement - Gilbert Water Plant / Mobile
Job Duties:
Hourly Rate: $19.35 (2025)

You must be enrolled in a post-secondary Institution and returning to school in the fall in order to qualify for this position with the exception of completing a final co-op term.
LOCATION: Initial Placement - Gilbert Water Plant / Mobile
Job Duties:
- To help with the upkeep of grounds, buildings, and other assets in the County of Brant.
- Provide good customer service as needed.
- Cleaning and painting at water facilities, painting of fire hydrants.
- Landscape maintenance including grass cutting/trimming.
- Outdoor work in a variety of weather conditions.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Familiar with operation of hand tools.
- General mechanical aptitude.
- Valid driver's licence (G or G2) and access to a personal vehicle in the course of employment.
- Physical ability to perform essential job duties.
- Self starter with a good work ethic.
- Ability to undertake outdoor and physical work in all weather conditions.
- Painting and landscaping skills would be considered an asset.
- Knowledge and experience in a municipal government setting would be considered an asset.
- The successful candidate must submit a driver's abstract satisfactory to the County prior to start date.
- CSA approved work boots must be personally supplied by the successful candidate.
